Terms & Conditions
The Loch is decorated with period furniture, paintings and unique items we have collected and restored and we kindly ask that you keep this in mind when staying with us. It is a wonderful place to unwind and relax. The following points are simply to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
Once we have confirmed your reservation we ask for a 50% deposit to be paid – this is fully refundable if you cancel your booking 2 weeks prior, after that no refunds are available. The balance of the booking must be paid 7 days before you arrive.
Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- 14 days prior you will receive a full refund
- Less than 14 days –– Sorry we are a small business and we cannot make a refund unless we can secure a replacement booking.
We will advise total cost for your stay in an email to you and advise payment options and timings. We are happy to accept direct debits and credit card payments – credit cards incur a 2% surcharge.
Excess Cleaning Fee, Damage and Security Deposit
Please respect our beautiful house and leave it tidy. We expect to undertake normal cleaning requirements however if additional cleaning is required we will deduct this from your credit card. Furniture should be replaced if moved and we request that dishes and cooking utensils are washed and put away before you leave. Whilst we accept accidents can occur, we ask you to let us know if any damage takes place so we can assess the charge for repair or replacement.
We will try to be flexible but unless otherwise arranged check-in is 2pm. Should you intend to arrive after 5pm please let us know in good time.

The Loch is available for holiday rental only. Any functions require prior approval and as a courtesy to our neighbours you cannot play loud music either inside the house or in the garden. Please don’t leave the guest area and wander around the farm without requesting permission, this is a working farm and there are areas it is not suitable for guests to visit. On departure please separate your rubbish and recycling.
Numbers of Guests
The total number of adults and children who can stay will be agreed at the time of the booking. Should you wish to entertain visitors during your stay please let us know immediately. We respectfully ask that you do not exceed the agreed number of staying guests and visitors however if this does occur additional overnight guests will be charged $50 each. We are unable to accept pets.
